Hello! I'm back from and chalet! And I only get to sleep for only 1 hour for the first night. Strangely, I was not tired at all. Only when I started sitting in the MRT that I fell into a deep sleep, which almost cost me my stop. Not once, but twice, the second one really makes me miss my stop, which also makes me late for my band.
By the time I get back to the chalet, everyone had started BBQ-ing. The food was marvelicious! Although I didn't eat a lot, cause I drank a lot of water during Chingay practice. I shouldn't have perspire that much.
The second night was the best. I slept for 8 hours straight. People said that chalet are not meant for people to sleep, yeah, it's true. My friends were happily watching moves and having outside activities while I'm having my beauty sleep. They even said that I sleep talked... ok, not really sleep talked, sleep walking should be more precised, and I DON'T EVEN REALISED IT! They only told me after I woke up.
Yeah, and I realised too, that my pocket money is fast decreasing. I've been inspecting on what have I been spending on, that dug a hole in my pocket. I suspect that I travel too much and I refill my EZ-Link card much too often. Maybe I should consider buying a consession.

Everything is over, and man, I feel so relaxed now. Can finally breath again.
All this while, I thought posting short posts would makes my post more appealing to read, since I THOUGHT long posts bore people away. Well, I guess I'm back to writing long posts again! Hold on reader's, get ready to turn your mouse wheels!

Okay, for a percussionist with 4 years of experience, being without the skill to roll on the snare drum is such a disgrace. I mean, what have I been doing these past years? I believed if one is hardworking enough to practice, one should be able to roll in about 1 or 2 years time. This could only mean 1 thing. The tutor in my Secondary School Years doesn't know how to differentiate between "Rolling On the Floor Laughing" and "Rolling On the Drum Strumming"...
Nah, It must have been me.
I'm telling you, rich kids gotta be the most suitable people to be in band. They could buy instruments to practice at home, tutors to teach them, MONEY FOR OVERSEAS TRIP! I promised myself, if I ever have a child, I'm gonna work like siao and earn lots of money to make sure he(or she) is provided with the best tutor! (If he or she intend to play music).
Chingay betting session this saturday, let's hope everything went nicely and the director won't change anything.

All my activities and schedules are so messed up, had to sacrificed events for another. 2 major events which took most of my time are JC & Poly Band Fest as well as Chingay rehearsal. If it were not for these 2, i could have go out with my friends and family. I could have attended ensemble practices. But thanks god the Band Fest is over... not that I dreaded it, of course I had fun, but just glad it's over.
I realised so many things during the Band Fest. The way I played timpani, the way I socialised. I've never really payed attention on how I played the timpani. But thanks to that person who commented on my playing.
Tiac Woo and Jin Kun joined the Band Fest as well! What a small world, although I felt bad for being unable to attend their SP Concert.

Oh my god, man. I'm so traumatized right now. Feeling so guilty for feeling disgusted. Guess I'm a racist eh? Hope I don't get a nightmare tonight. If it's a nightmare, please let it be me failing my test tomorrow. I'd rather had that rather than... Eww~. Man, that's it, I'm officially racist. Sorry mom, dad, you've got a racist son.

Man, can't wait for the common test to be over.
Chingay rehearsal was fun. Can't wait for Friday's rehearsal. We are doing formation. Hehe.
After watching Philwinds concert in esplanade, I'm just so inspired to practice more on my percussion skills. AND, after I watched the harp player, I want to try playing harp as well! Haha, It might be kind of impossible. But just be able to play a simple tune will be fine with me.
