My VISA has been approved! Finally, I was worried that it would turn out to be rejected.

Just came back from from French Embassy, now in school, intending to meet Yu Hang, until he sms-ed me that he is sick and can't come. Well, get well soon, tomorrow start school liao, dun miss out the lectures. Now I'm in library, waiting for 12.45, where I'm going to pay Bandz Out T-shirt. It's quite dumb, it's as though I came to school just to pay the T-shirt, which wasted my 2 hours, traveling back and forth, not including waiting time.

Mom is coming to Singapore today, Wohoo! She's gonna help me in buying all the necessary stuff for the Vienna trip, including... A CAMERA! MY OWN PERSONAL CAMERA! OMG!!!!!

A major problem occurred for our Vienna trip, we can't use Photocopied scores there, Sar said it's the rule. We do have all the original scores in our hand, EXCEPT FOR "LEGEND OF YAO"! And we, the librarians have to come early before practice today to discuss about this issue. And I still have to go shopping with my mom, time is rather packed lately. Just hope that this trip will be a pleasant one.

Maybe it's because I've not been playing games for quite some time, now my eyes hurt after I played a whole day of PS2. Strange, it doesn't hurt the last time I played.

New shelf was added into the band room on Friday, exclusively for the percussion section. Now we got more space for all our instruments. The setting up was fun, with Wati doing the wiping of old instruments, while Ruo Zhen, Jolyn and me vacuumed the dusty carpet. Spring cleaning while listening to High musics sure helps a lot. It gives you the kick to do more than you used to give. The band room looked so heavenly for the first time in my NYPSO life. But it went back to it's normal state again soon after the SCL practice. Well, I guess it can't be helped, That's NYPSO...

I went to the band room today, even though there's no practice. Just helping out with moving of instruments. The band room looks weird without its curtain, too white. And it looked even weirder when the mallets were taken. Now there's only empty space there.

I meddled with the drums, since there's no percussionist in the room. Opening and closing of the rim, I noticed a lot of things that I never know about. And I think I screwed one of the drums too tight, it feels and sounds odd. It's okay, it will give others a reason to meddle with the drums as well.

This is really hectic, Voice Out trial run after Common Test, and Band after Voice Out.

Nothing really happens during the trial run, except the fact that more people started to help out in this event, even when they are from other events. The contestant came at 5pm, and among 12 of them, I saw 6 familiar faces. 2 Senior OGLs, 2 OGL, Eunice and one other girl from the clarinet. I just realised I never asked for her name, haha. Anyway, she sang beautifully, good job. It's kind of cool to see talented people performing on stage. There is this one guy, singing JJ's song and his voice! Holy Shit! It sounded as though it came out from JJ himself!

Went to band halfway of the trial run. Stomach was hungry, but no more time to eat. I tried to undo and redo the crash cymbal "grabber", trying out the technique i learnt from Kim Seng. Woah, it works. Haha.

I think scolding is an effective form of teaching. Yeah, it is hurtful, but that is exactly the point that makes me believe that it is effective. I read from a book that when you were being scolded, your brain releases a chemical that will makes you nailed that time of your life into your memory. Quite Cool eh? No wonder the commander in the army were so fierce. Not that I scold to teach, I mean, I believe that it is effective towards me, just that I'm not sure about the rest of the people.

Going oversea has never been so complicated. Applying Visa, Applying Visa for another Visa. Man, it's irritating. I've gone to the embassy 4th time already, only then they accept my documents! And I still have to wait for 3 weeks for my Visa to be approved(or rejected, if it's rejected, GG, no need go Vienna liao). And they only opens from 8 to 12!? I got to wake up early for these few days. Let's just hope my Visa is approved.

By the way, I was in the MRT train when I stumbled into this cute conversation between a mother and a son.

Son : Can I go out here?
Mom : Cannot.
Son : Why?
Mom : Which station are we at?
Son : Tiong Bahru
Mom : We are at Orchard Road (Road???)
Son : Orchard Road... Orchard Road, I also want to go Orchard Road.
Mom : Why do you want to go Orchard Road?
Son : Because Orchard Road... got something...

Well, I dunno why, I just find it cute for a child to say such thing. Sounds so innocent...

Yesterday was busied by my IP Assingment. 6 consecutive hours doing it and it's still not done. And my sis suddenly wanted to watch Narnia, along with my bro, at 9.30! That is just like an hour after due time for my IP Assignment lar! Was rushing like mad to finish it, even skipped dinner. But in the end only 85% done. Haiz, never mind, will make up with my written paper.

Narnia was................. AWESOME~~~ No idea how to describe the whole experience, and Jonathan said the movie was lame.

After the movie, we stayed back for a while just in case there were extra clip, but there were none. By the time, everyone has left the building, and the whole building was empty... and scary. The dark staircase and dark corners...Kinda like Resident Evil, fun experience.

This might be a little late, but anyways...

The concert was amazing! It was much much much much better than the one we rehearsed! I dunno why, but it has always been like that for any performances that we've done. Special ability of our Percussion Ensemble? Woah, so cool.

The starting of the concert, I suddenly turned nervous and my whole body was shaking, even while I was playing didgerido, my breath was shaking as well and I was afraid wrong sound was produced, but luckily it doesn't.

Technology was fun! My very first time playing drum set in a performance. But I gotta stop opening my mouth while playing drum set, looked so unglam.

Rockin' Rickie Rocket was the hardest piece of all. Not only must we have to act, but also synchronize with the "sound makers". And THE WIG! Oh, don't get me started. It was so furry and the hair was like half fallen off, at least for mine. It was horribly tangled up together and it just can't stop going into my mouth while I was playing. But somehow I was glad that happened, it gives the funny element into the piece.

The Encore piece, Mo Java was a challenge. It has been quite a while since we played that. I can't move while playing as well as before, realising that, I gave up on moving and just concentrate on my notes.

So, everything is over. Looking forward for our next concert.

Well, it's over.
Thinking back, I think I've been too engrossed in Band.
Yep, how can i be so enthu in band and not my study?
Good question,
anyone please tell me when you have the answer.
