Hello! I'm back from and chalet! And I only get to sleep for only 1 hour for the first night. Strangely, I was not tired at all. Only when I started sitting in the MRT that I fell into a deep sleep, which almost cost me my stop. Not once, but twice, the second one really makes me miss my stop, which also makes me late for my band.

By the time I get back to the chalet, everyone had started BBQ-ing. The food was marvelicious! Although I didn't eat a lot, cause I drank a lot of water during Chingay practice. I shouldn't have perspire that much.

The second night was the best. I slept for 8 hours straight. People said that chalet are not meant for people to sleep, yeah, it's true. My friends were happily watching moves and having outside activities while I'm having my beauty sleep. They even said that I sleep talked... ok, not really sleep talked, sleep walking should be more precised, and I DON'T EVEN REALISED IT! They only told me after I woke up.

Yeah, and I realised too, that my pocket money is fast decreasing. I've been inspecting on what have I been spending on, that dug a hole in my pocket. I suspect that I travel too much and I refill my EZ-Link card much too often. Maybe I should consider buying a consession.

Everything is over, and man, I feel so relaxed now. Can finally breath again.

All this while, I thought posting short posts would makes my post more appealing to read, since I THOUGHT long posts bore people away. Well, I guess I'm back to writing long posts again! Hold on reader's, get ready to turn your mouse wheels!

I find this beautiful. Wish I could Photoshop Like that.

Okay, for a percussionist with 4 years of experience, being without the skill to roll on the snare drum is such a disgrace. I mean, what have I been doing these past years? I believed if one is hardworking enough to practice, one should be able to roll in about 1 or 2 years time. This could only mean 1 thing. The tutor in my Secondary School Years doesn't know how to differentiate between "Rolling On the Floor Laughing" and "Rolling On the Drum Strumming"...

Nah, It must have been me.

I'm telling you, rich kids gotta be the most suitable people to be in band. They could buy instruments to practice at home, tutors to teach them, MONEY FOR OVERSEAS TRIP! I promised myself, if I ever have a child, I'm gonna work like siao and earn lots of money to make sure he(or she) is provided with the best tutor! (If he or she intend to play music).

Chingay betting session this saturday, let's hope everything went nicely and the director won't change anything.

All my activities and schedules are so messed up, had to sacrificed events for another. 2 major events which took most of my time are JC & Poly Band Fest as well as Chingay rehearsal. If it were not for these 2, i could have go out with my friends and family. I could have attended ensemble practices. But thanks god the Band Fest is over... not that I dreaded it, of course I had fun, but just glad it's over.

I realised so many things during the Band Fest. The way I played timpani, the way I socialised. I've never really payed attention on how I played the timpani. But thanks to that person who commented on my playing.

Tiac Woo and Jin Kun joined the Band Fest as well! What a small world, although I felt bad for being unable to attend their SP Concert.

That's Jin Kun

And that's Tiac Woo in the Center

Finally, time to rest. Can you believe it? For this Band Fest, we had to start practicing from 9 to 5 for 4 days! I'm just relieved that I finally has time to sleep more...

Foreign Bodies Production was cool...
Yep, that's all.

Wednesday, December 10, 2008

Oh my god, man. I'm so traumatized right now. Feeling so guilty for feeling disgusted. Guess I'm a racist eh? Hope I don't get a nightmare tonight. If it's a nightmare, please let it be me failing my test tomorrow. I'd rather had that rather than... Eww~. Man, that's it, I'm officially racist. Sorry mom, dad, you've got a racist son.

May he rest in peace...
Man, can't wait for the common test to be over.

Chingay rehearsal was fun. Can't wait for Friday's rehearsal. We are doing formation. Hehe.

After watching Philwinds concert in esplanade, I'm just so inspired to practice more on my percussion skills. AND, after I watched the harp player, I want to try playing harp as well! Haha, It might be kind of impossible. But just be able to play a simple tune will be fine with me.

Okay, I've decided.

I'll go for Interactive Media!

Tuesday, November 25, 2008

Hello!

I'm so damn tired right now.

I just had some meeting with some big boss from some big company.

And I had to wear blazer, which is so troublesome.

The boss looks young for his age.

I wouldn't believe he was the boss if my secretary didn't say so.

Of course, in the end the meeting didn't happen, because...
ALL THE PHOTOS ABOVE ARE SCRIPTED!
HAHA!

Good morning, It's 1 in the morning now.

For a starter, I'm so confused right now. As in RPG game kind of confused. You know, the stat whereby your character will act on their own and bloody hit your own team.

Well, that's the extreme, and I'm not that extreme. I'm just feeling confused as to what am I supposed to be doing now. I know I'm supposed to be sleeping, cause I'm so dead tired. But at the same time I need to study for Monday's IC Re-Test. Yep, RETEST. I failed it last week, and now the teacher wants me to retake.

Anyway, instead of doing either one, I decided to blog. About how I overslept and miss my stop while going home from Kim Seng CC. And about how shitty today's audience were. But the wonderful thing is that some woman interested in our Ensemble and asked for our contact...

Okay, that's so not wonderful, my mistake. More clients = More work.

Oh, and I've created the NYPPE group in facebook. So those who are(were) in Percussion Enemble, I've sent the invitation, so join up!

Wednesday, November 12, 2008

I'm blogging 12 in the morning now. Yep, it's officially Wednesday. And I ought to get some rest, cause tomorrow is gonna be a hectic day. excluding morning lessons, I'm gonna go support my juniors performing at the atrium.

And then got to rush for meeting with director.

Then got to rush again for Band meeting.

Then going for buffet with Band Committee.

Oh my god, like no time to breath at all lar.
And this morning is my DDI Test.
ZZzzz *Faint*

It's been a long year
Good people come and go
Some left behind a legacy
Most were forgotten in time
I hope the new batches will always outdo the previous
As not to let Dennis down

Tomorrow's the day, I dunno what to feel. Excited? Nervous? Cause what I'm feeling this morning was, "Oh, it's just another concert..." kind of feeling. But I guess today's concert rehearsal changed that. Thank you everyone, for giving me faith in this band. Tomorrow,
LET'S ROCK THE HOUSE DOWN!!

Is being carefree something to be jealous about? How many people in this world is living a carefree life? They live without worrying what's going to happen to them in the future. "I'm satisfied with my result even if it's just a pass", "exam is tomorrow? Well, there's always a retest.", "Performance tomorrow? Well, let's have fun!" Okay, they are happy living their life. But with this kind of attitude, these people might not get anywhere in reality, since they are easily satisfied and contented.

Wait a minute? So what if they can't be some big shot earning big bucks? They are easily contented and satisfied with their life. So if they are happy with the way they live, what's there to be worried about? Man, I'm so jealous with their mindset.

On a lighter note, this post marks the
200th blog entries of my blog!

Happy Birthday to my blog~

Speaking of Birthday, Sunday was Kit's birthday and although not a lot of percussionist able to make it, we still managed to celebrate her birthday... in Sakae sushi... and Ben's & Jerry. She doesn't seem to complain about her gift, thanks goodness. And I felt bad when we had to borrow money from Zhao Zhi, like as though we're taking advantage of him. I'll make it up somehow.

That's Jin Kun, a guy that we met during Poly Forum. His hair so style~, we help him one, haha. And he is coming to support us for our Sinfonique Concert. Wow!

All of us Summa Cum Laude participants received our certificate, and some montage about the happenings in Vienna. Well, as soon as I reach home, I inserted the certificates to my Port folio, where I usually keep all my certificates. I came across my Secondary School Leaving Certificate Testimonial. And I was so ashamed, I was a big contrast between myself now and me then. I have let my teachers down. But maybe...

I just watched beauty and the beast. Yes, although it's an old Disney movie, I don't know why I didn't realised it while I watched it as a boy. But I started to realise how nice the background music is. perhaps kid's brain are too small to accept music.

Have you ever feel like doing something, but in the end, due to some circumstances, you decided not to do it at all? Is it for the fear of making a mistake? Not being able to do a good job? Afraid that when we made a mistake, it angers someone? People learn from their mistake, right? So if you are scared to make a mistake, you won't learn right?

Isn't it better to learn from your mistake now, rather than making a mistake and learn from it in the future, when you are an adult? At least people will understand that, you are still a young adult with little experience. Imagine if you are a full grown adult and you can't even do a trivial task properly, it would be a disgrace.

My main point is, people who never make mistake, they either can't learn, or they just never learn.
...
...
Just kidding.

I have a feeling that this semester is gonna be a fantastic one. I feel that I'm getting closer to the people in my class. I feel like throwing a class outing! I feel like studying hard! I feel... I FEEL... SPANISH FEVER!!!

...

...

Totally random up there.

Back to the topic. 'Spore" is one KICK ASS game. Especially with your friend around, watching you playing it. Total madness, heart pumping. Thanks Robin, for the game. :D

Found this photo while browsing my files. I find it hilarious cause the way Ridwan were blocking the girls while they are trying to take a picture is weird.

My class starts at 12 today. Finally, in my 1 and a half year in NYP, I've got lesson that starts lesson later than 10am! Everyday lesson starts so early, want me to die ar.

I was so suprised when I visited these 3 people's blog.
Timothy, Judy, Jolyn.
They 3 have the same background music. Which music, you asked?

Kelly Chen - Love Paradise

Haha! It's the song that I sent them. Ok lar, it's nice what, actually they got put inside their blog also nothing what.
I've mentioned before in one of my earliest post about how fun the game "Brave Fencer Musashi" is. Let me re-emphasize it again.

"BRAVE FENCER MUSASHI" ROCKS MY SOCKS!

Why am I posing this you asked?

...

Good question, maybe I'm just bored...
...or is just that the game REALLY ROCKS!

Robin asked for the soundtrack from me, cause not only the game, but the soundtrack as well, is great.

PSP's price dropped so much, yet I still don't have the money to buy one. Feel like asking mom for help. BUT I WON'T! Use own money better, got sense of achievement. Haha.

Monday, October 13, 2008

Uh... I missed out a lot of days worth of blogging, again.

Too continue from where I left off, yes, after the dragon boating, I got a sunburn. Well, It's a mild one, doesn't really hurt. But it's quite obvious to other people that I got a sunburn from my reddish face.

Edwin passed me a new game called "Spore", not "S'pore", "Spore". It something like Sims, just that instead of controlling humans, you controls everything in the universe, and you can watch everything evolve from a tiny organism, to a Spaceship captain. WOW!

I attended some leadership talk in NYP, I wrote attended because I really just attend, but not really paying attention, cause I came late, and I was lost to what the person was saying. Furthermore, my mind was on the coming band meeting, which is why I left the talk early.

Mr Han said, he wanted a meeting cause he long time never see us, =.=. Of course, that's just a joke. And he also said, "Wah, tommorow got picnic never jio!" =.=". Alvin said he wanted to jio now, but he said, "Aiya, Bo Sim, never mind" -_-". Of course, he is kidding as well. Haha.

Ya, the band picnic, it was fun, roller blading and all that. Frisbee, soccer, eat, drink. Pity that I have to left early for Kim Seng. Speaking of which, I spoiled the shaker. Man, I'm a Shiva!

Sunday was the Poly Forum Performing Arts outing day, how come from so many people left to only 20 people going? Haha. WE went Siloso Beach, we buried jack and dig a grave for Jeremy, plus a tombstone. Haha, like so bad lar. But the grave looks so nice! Should have brought my camera.

Rushed for Family Dinner at Jumbo. I didn't realised it, but my brother said I looked damn shagged. Come to think of it, I went out a lot this week. Reaching home late and sleeping lesser than I should be. And I was reddish again, EVEN MORE REDDISH THAN LAST TIME. Uh oh, my skin is so gonna sting tommorow.

TODAY!
OH MY ****ING GOD! WHY LIKE THAT! CAN'T EVEN CARRY MY BAG LAR!
THE RED SURFACES ON MY BACK STINGS LIKE HELL!
It's so going to be a tough week for me...

Mom came back from Beijing, and she mistakenly set the digital camera in video mode. So throughout her stay in Beijing, all she took were videos and no photos. She only discovered it when she returned, so now I have to help her to capture pictures from the videos, which took me one a half hour.

Anyway, I went dragon boating today, with Kenny and Val. It was an event organized by Val's Church, met new faces, but some are old faces. The weather was very bad, and we were worried it would be canceled. But the rain stopped just on time, and we were able to continue with the plan.

The Kallang river is so dirty man, leaves, paper. Wait, did I just see a condom??? Oh, that's just small plastic bag. Not to forget that it's super salty, and everybody was splashing each other. And I forgot to bring extra pants!

There was a race to, which we came on 3rd, not too bad. Everything ended and we washed up a little.

I have enough of KFC man, everyday eat KFC, want to slim down also cannot.

The arcade time is fun. We played a lot of stuff, including the parapara machine. And some shooting game that brings back memories... Ah, the good old time, isn't? Kenny, Edwin, Mr Zul?

Well, that was it. I hurried home to bath and change to my dry pants and here I am, blogging. Haha.

Thursday, October 02, 2008

Went to General Hospital to give Kenny moral support for his scanning, val came too. He injured his leg sia, say what the pain is like rheumatism, sounds so scary. His mom was there as well, we so stress, dunno what to say to her, but luckily his mom very friendly, started the conversation. So funny, the uncle that pushed his trolley asked him "Is he(Me) your elder or younger brother?" Kenny was like O.o "He my friend. Haha!". Uncle, you not the first one to say that liao, haha! But coincidently, my birthday was just a day after his, and my height is just about his height! Wow! So many coincidence!

Then after scanning Kenny invited us to his house. His house got XBox sia! We watched Tom & Jerry, haha. But then Jerold called want me go sch open the band room. Zzzz. So After I opened the band room, I went Vivo, suddenly feel like going there. Go there take picture, window shopping...

Then comes Kenny and Val, who tailed me down to Vivo. Now how sweet is that? We ate dinner together, and ate Char Kuey Tiao, which took us real long time to queue. But it's so worth it! Damn nice!

Went back to Vivo to walk walk. Play play. Bought a jotter book, to sketch. I'm thinking of learning to draw. Hehe.

I SHACKED MY HAND WITH THE PRESIDENT! OMG! NOT ONCE! TWICE! Hehe.

The only picture I managed to take. This is while we were still in NYP, going to Istana.

The dance instructor for the Poly Forum as well as his crew performed as well! But I think he had forgotten who I am already. Haha.

Going into the Istana is so troublesome. We had to go through tight security check before we can go in to perform. And everywhere we went, there would be armed guards, it's like so stressful sia. Skali we mistakenly waved our drumstick and it slipped and hit the president... *Gulp*

Oh, we saw the TP Band people. Haha. Wayne, Wei Da and Jasmine. We supported them and they supported us. Haha!

We thought we were on TV, Awww~~
I hate rainy days, it ruins my hair :P

I'm starting to miss my house maid. Life is so hard without her, we have to sweep and mop the floor ourselves, and not forgetting that now, nobody is taking care of my nephews. It can be really hard to play with them, especially when they insisted on playing a certain game. They cried whenever you ignored them, throw tantrum when you refuse to give the things they want. Haha, the little angels in disguise. I have to sacrifice my computing time for them.

tommorow (or should I say today) is our performance in the Istana Open House. Man, the NYP Percussion Ensemble is going famous! And the Temasek Polytechnic Band is performing as well! Long time never see them liao, haha. We were shocked when Alvin told us they will be performing before us. Val was like "Huh!?", Ridwan was like "O.o", and I was like "=.="". Haha, just kidding. Got to reach band room early tommorow for last minute practice. We only had 3 practice b4 the performance, how unprepared are we, but we are catching up quite fast, so I guess it won't be a problem, haha.

I read Ridwan's blog and felt so bad, he sacrificed his Hari Raya time with family and perform with us instead. I know he sacrificed a lot for this ensemble already, being the one in-charge of our ensemble everytime there's a performance. Well, I guessed he is tired, since he left me in-charge for the going back trip after the performance. He is leaving to do some stuff(Well, he earned that) straight after out performance at 4.30pm. Feel so honored too, that he left me with the responsibility.

Well, shall rest early for tommorow. Wish us luck. Haha!

Monday, September 29, 2008

I'm so gonna have Monday Blues tomorrow...

I woke up quite late today, which is unusual for me. I used to woke up around 8, but instead, I woke up at 9.30. Must be really tired.

I wasted half a day worth of time on comics again! Well, but again, I'm improving my mandarin, haha. The other half a day, I used it for photoshopping. Nope, not editing photos, photoshopping as in this!

Suddenly, I'm inspired to start doing this... uh... What is it called? Graphic Design? Haha, whatever. It might be simple, but hey! It's my first time ok. Haha. Anyway It's time consuming, BUT, after finishing this product, it certainly gave me the feeling of accomplishment. Maybe I'll be doing more. Haha.

PY, this line is for you to tag my board. Haha! Dun give excuses liao!

Friday, September 26, 2008

They are so cool! And they played the mario song at the end!

It has been quite a long time since the last time I stayed at home the whole day. Finally, some resting time. But again, stayed at home also nothing to do. I continued to work on my Vienna video, and at the same time, reading some manga, THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE DAY! Nothing to play, so I played with the game in facebook.

Well, I've been wanting to get a new movie making software, since the things that I can do with the current software is very limited.

Oh! And Chloe passed me the link for piano scores for "Love Paradise"! Whee~~~
THANKS CHLOE!

Wednesday, September 24, 2008

Heheh, perhaps this is a little late. But I'm gonna post the happenings in Poly Forum. Since it is 1 of the most significant event in my life. Really, it's super duper fun and crazy!

First Day:
Wow, we're one of the first few to reach De'Marquee. It's so empty!

That's Ridwan, Kit and Grace.

The first few hours were warm ups, which require us to shout a lot, which is the reason for my sore throat. Then the fun begins when we bowl. Although I didn't score much, but it was fun, haha. I was careless and the ball on my hand slipped and dropped with a loud thud. Super embarrassing.

Well, the day ended with BBQ, where we sat down and chatted... throughout the whole BBQ! We didn't even help out with cooking the food lar!

Second Day :
We have to woke up damn early to move the instrument. Yep, the life of a percussionist. Logistic, logistic, logistic. We are going to hortpark for rehearsal, which is about 30 minutes bus ride from downtown east. I don't know if it's the weather or what, but halfway, I felt unwell and unable to rehearse with the team. Oh well...

It's terrarium making time. We get to create our own terrarium, how cool is that! But After the poly forum, mine kinda cracked and the plant withered, so I threw it away. Haha.

Oh, we had dinner with some kind of minister at some Community Center! We had our best dinner there. And look! They are using biodegradable plates for our food!

Third Day :
Well, what can I say? It's the performance time, and everything was perfect! Oh Yeah!

Final Day :
Well, It's over... Had fun, Nice meeting you guys! Keep in contact!
Percussion Ensemble needs a bass guitarist!? Me, Me! Although I don't know a single shit about it, hehe.

Where''s Danial when we need him the most? Our team can't do without a bass guitarist. Well, not only bass guitarist, other's as well. Everybody is too busy with their holiday job to come, and now, many parts are left unmanned. haiz...

By the way, today, I got the chance to lead the warm up exercise, which I think is very cool!

After the practice, I got tickled all the way to the mrt station, which makes me perspire like mad! They and their itchy fingers...

What could be nicer than a nice supper at KFC after a long hard day. Anything else, but 2 chicken wings?! Seriously man, today I'm so suay, kena tickled, kena 2 small chicken wings, late for ensemble. Haiz, any everybody said that they can see that I'm tired from my actions, like suddenly become so serious. Everyone was so scared talking to me. Like what the heck sia.

Tuesday, September 23, 2008

Hey man! Val sent me a damn freakin nice song!

I listened to it every now and then and won't get tired of it.
Thanks Val! HAHA!

Kelly Chen - Love Paradise

You're always on my mind
All day just all the time
You're everything to me
Brightest star to let me see

You touch me in my dreams
We kiss in every scene
I pray to be with you
through rain and shiny days

I'll love you till I die
Deep as sea
Wide as sky
The beauty of our love paints rainbows
Everywhere we go
Need you all my life

You're my hope
You're my pride
In your arms I find my heaven
In your eyes my sea and sky
May life be our love paradise

Current people addicted to the song :
Timothy
Vera
Chloe
Jokhie

Anyway, have any of you ever seen a pink taxi before? Well, I surely haven't, not till today...
Took that pic while I was walking towards school.

And Timothy lent me his PSP for me to play Patapon! Whee~~
After sitting there with such position for 1 and a half hour, My Back started to ache, and it hurts like hell during the band practice. The pain won't even subside after I reach home.

Monday, September 22, 2008

My parents just reached Singapore yesterday, and the first thing I saw my mom was doing in the morning was... servicing the air-con. Man, she should have told us, her sons to do it instead. After her hardwork in Indonesia, she should be resting here and let us pamper her. Hehe.

Anyway, she brought with her from Indonesia, a... some kind of Lego pieces. It used to be my favourite game that I used to play when I was a kid. Building armies and conquer other countries(I used the square boxes on the floor to indicate different territories).

Well, since It's here, might as well play for a while right?

Well, went out with Kenny and Val for a while to collect paycheck, but it wasn't ready yet, so... We went to Clarke Quay, and have some cam whoring session.

Stop Motion Picture presents.

And this is Val and Kenny, Highing after our dinner.

Man, how I pity Kenny for being beside her. Haha! Can you see how much I pity him from this picture???

Nah, apparently I don't care.
