It's been a long year
Good people come and go
Some left behind a legacy
Most were forgotten in time
I hope the new batches will always outdo the previous
As not to let Dennis down

Tomorrow's the day, I dunno what to feel. Excited? Nervous? Cause what I'm feeling this morning was, "Oh, it's just another concert..." kind of feeling. But I guess today's concert rehearsal changed that. Thank you everyone, for giving me faith in this band. Tomorrow,
LET'S ROCK THE HOUSE DOWN!!

Is being carefree something to be jealous about? How many people in this world is living a carefree life? They live without worrying what's going to happen to them in the future. "I'm satisfied with my result even if it's just a pass", "exam is tomorrow? Well, there's always a retest.", "Performance tomorrow? Well, let's have fun!" Okay, they are happy living their life. But with this kind of attitude, these people might not get anywhere in reality, since they are easily satisfied and contented.

Wait a minute? So what if they can't be some big shot earning big bucks? They are easily contented and satisfied with their life. So if they are happy with the way they live, what's there to be worried about? Man, I'm so jealous with their mindset.

On a lighter note, this post marks the
200th blog entries of my blog!

Happy Birthday to my blog~

Speaking of Birthday, Sunday was Kit's birthday and although not a lot of percussionist able to make it, we still managed to celebrate her birthday... in Sakae sushi... and Ben's & Jerry. She doesn't seem to complain about her gift, thanks goodness. And I felt bad when we had to borrow money from Zhao Zhi, like as though we're taking advantage of him. I'll make it up somehow.

That's Jin Kun, a guy that we met during Poly Forum. His hair so style~, we help him one, haha. And he is coming to support us for our Sinfonique Concert. Wow!

All of us Summa Cum Laude participants received our certificate, and some montage about the happenings in Vienna. Well, as soon as I reach home, I inserted the certificates to my Port folio, where I usually keep all my certificates. I came across my Secondary School Leaving Certificate Testimonial. And I was so ashamed, I was a big contrast between myself now and me then. I have let my teachers down. But maybe...

I just watched beauty and the beast. Yes, although it's an old Disney movie, I don't know why I didn't realised it while I watched it as a boy. But I started to realise how nice the background music is. perhaps kid's brain are too small to accept music.

Have you ever feel like doing something, but in the end, due to some circumstances, you decided not to do it at all? Is it for the fear of making a mistake? Not being able to do a good job? Afraid that when we made a mistake, it angers someone? People learn from their mistake, right? So if you are scared to make a mistake, you won't learn right?

Isn't it better to learn from your mistake now, rather than making a mistake and learn from it in the future, when you are an adult? At least people will understand that, you are still a young adult with little experience. Imagine if you are a full grown adult and you can't even do a trivial task properly, it would be a disgrace.

My main point is, people who never make mistake, they either can't learn, or they just never learn.
...
...
Just kidding.

I have a feeling that this semester is gonna be a fantastic one. I feel that I'm getting closer to the people in my class. I feel like throwing a class outing! I feel like studying hard! I feel... I FEEL... SPANISH FEVER!!!

...

...

Totally random up there.

Back to the topic. 'Spore" is one KICK ASS game. Especially with your friend around, watching you playing it. Total madness, heart pumping. Thanks Robin, for the game. :D

Found this photo while browsing my files. I find it hilarious cause the way Ridwan were blocking the girls while they are trying to take a picture is weird.

My class starts at 12 today. Finally, in my 1 and a half year in NYP, I've got lesson that starts lesson later than 10am! Everyday lesson starts so early, want me to die ar.

I was so suprised when I visited these 3 people's blog.
Timothy, Judy, Jolyn.
They 3 have the same background music. Which music, you asked?

Kelly Chen - Love Paradise

Haha! It's the song that I sent them. Ok lar, it's nice what, actually they got put inside their blog also nothing what.
I've mentioned before in one of my earliest post about how fun the game "Brave Fencer Musashi" is. Let me re-emphasize it again.

"BRAVE FENCER MUSASHI" ROCKS MY SOCKS!

Why am I posing this you asked?

...

Good question, maybe I'm just bored...
...or is just that the game REALLY ROCKS!

Robin asked for the soundtrack from me, cause not only the game, but the soundtrack as well, is great.

PSP's price dropped so much, yet I still don't have the money to buy one. Feel like asking mom for help. BUT I WON'T! Use own money better, got sense of achievement. Haha.

Uh... I missed out a lot of days worth of blogging, again.

Too continue from where I left off, yes, after the dragon boating, I got a sunburn. Well, It's a mild one, doesn't really hurt. But it's quite obvious to other people that I got a sunburn from my reddish face.

Edwin passed me a new game called "Spore", not "S'pore", "Spore". It something like Sims, just that instead of controlling humans, you controls everything in the universe, and you can watch everything evolve from a tiny organism, to a Spaceship captain. WOW!

I attended some leadership talk in NYP, I wrote attended because I really just attend, but not really paying attention, cause I came late, and I was lost to what the person was saying. Furthermore, my mind was on the coming band meeting, which is why I left the talk early.

Mr Han said, he wanted a meeting cause he long time never see us, =.=. Of course, that's just a joke. And he also said, "Wah, tommorow got picnic never jio!" =.=". Alvin said he wanted to jio now, but he said, "Aiya, Bo Sim, never mind" -_-". Of course, he is kidding as well. Haha.

Ya, the band picnic, it was fun, roller blading and all that. Frisbee, soccer, eat, drink. Pity that I have to left early for Kim Seng. Speaking of which, I spoiled the shaker. Man, I'm a Shiva!

Sunday was the Poly Forum Performing Arts outing day, how come from so many people left to only 20 people going? Haha. WE went Siloso Beach, we buried jack and dig a grave for Jeremy, plus a tombstone. Haha, like so bad lar. But the grave looks so nice! Should have brought my camera.

Rushed for Family Dinner at Jumbo. I didn't realised it, but my brother said I looked damn shagged. Come to think of it, I went out a lot this week. Reaching home late and sleeping lesser than I should be. And I was reddish again, EVEN MORE REDDISH THAN LAST TIME. Uh oh, my skin is so gonna sting tommorow.

TODAY!
OH MY ****ING GOD! WHY LIKE THAT! CAN'T EVEN CARRY MY BAG LAR!
THE RED SURFACES ON MY BACK STINGS LIKE HELL!
It's so going to be a tough week for me...

Mom came back from Beijing, and she mistakenly set the digital camera in video mode. So throughout her stay in Beijing, all she took were videos and no photos. She only discovered it when she returned, so now I have to help her to capture pictures from the videos, which took me one a half hour.

Anyway, I went dragon boating today, with Kenny and Val. It was an event organized by Val's Church, met new faces, but some are old faces. The weather was very bad, and we were worried it would be canceled. But the rain stopped just on time, and we were able to continue with the plan.

The Kallang river is so dirty man, leaves, paper. Wait, did I just see a condom??? Oh, that's just small plastic bag. Not to forget that it's super salty, and everybody was splashing each other. And I forgot to bring extra pants!

There was a race to, which we came on 3rd, not too bad. Everything ended and we washed up a little.

I have enough of KFC man, everyday eat KFC, want to slim down also cannot.

The arcade time is fun. We played a lot of stuff, including the parapara machine. And some shooting game that brings back memories... Ah, the good old time, isn't? Kenny, Edwin, Mr Zul?

Well, that was it. I hurried home to bath and change to my dry pants and here I am, blogging. Haha.

Went to General Hospital to give Kenny moral support for his scanning, val came too. He injured his leg sia, say what the pain is like rheumatism, sounds so scary. His mom was there as well, we so stress, dunno what to say to her, but luckily his mom very friendly, started the conversation. So funny, the uncle that pushed his trolley asked him "Is he(Me) your elder or younger brother?" Kenny was like O.o "He my friend. Haha!". Uncle, you not the first one to say that liao, haha! But coincidently, my birthday was just a day after his, and my height is just about his height! Wow! So many coincidence!

Then after scanning Kenny invited us to his house. His house got XBox sia! We watched Tom & Jerry, haha. But then Jerold called want me go sch open the band room. Zzzz. So After I opened the band room, I went Vivo, suddenly feel like going there. Go there take picture, window shopping...

Then comes Kenny and Val, who tailed me down to Vivo. Now how sweet is that? We ate dinner together, and ate Char Kuey Tiao, which took us real long time to queue. But it's so worth it! Damn nice!

Went back to Vivo to walk walk. Play play. Bought a jotter book, to sketch. I'm thinking of learning to draw. Hehe.

I SHACKED MY HAND WITH THE PRESIDENT! OMG! NOT ONCE! TWICE! Hehe.

The only picture I managed to take. This is while we were still in NYP, going to Istana.

The dance instructor for the Poly Forum as well as his crew performed as well! But I think he had forgotten who I am already. Haha.

Going into the Istana is so troublesome. We had to go through tight security check before we can go in to perform. And everywhere we went, there would be armed guards, it's like so stressful sia. Skali we mistakenly waved our drumstick and it slipped and hit the president... *Gulp*

Oh, we saw the TP Band people. Haha. Wayne, Wei Da and Jasmine. We supported them and they supported us. Haha!

We thought we were on TV, Awww~~
I hate rainy days, it ruins my hair :P

I'm starting to miss my house maid. Life is so hard without her, we have to sweep and mop the floor ourselves, and not forgetting that now, nobody is taking care of my nephews. It can be really hard to play with them, especially when they insisted on playing a certain game. They cried whenever you ignored them, throw tantrum when you refuse to give the things they want. Haha, the little angels in disguise. I have to sacrifice my computing time for them.

tommorow (or should I say today) is our performance in the Istana Open House. Man, the NYP Percussion Ensemble is going famous! And the Temasek Polytechnic Band is performing as well! Long time never see them liao, haha. We were shocked when Alvin told us they will be performing before us. Val was like "Huh!?", Ridwan was like "O.o", and I was like "=.="". Haha, just kidding. Got to reach band room early tommorow for last minute practice. We only had 3 practice b4 the performance, how unprepared are we, but we are catching up quite fast, so I guess it won't be a problem, haha.

I read Ridwan's blog and felt so bad, he sacrificed his Hari Raya time with family and perform with us instead. I know he sacrificed a lot for this ensemble already, being the one in-charge of our ensemble everytime there's a performance. Well, I guessed he is tired, since he left me in-charge for the going back trip after the performance. He is leaving to do some stuff(Well, he earned that) straight after out performance at 4.30pm. Feel so honored too, that he left me with the responsibility.

Well, shall rest early for tommorow. Wish us luck. Haha!
